The European Commission has published in August that the module of the registration of the actors of the European Database on Medical Devices (EUDAMED) will be active on December 1st 2020, on a voluntary basis. This module will allow the registration of manufacturers, agents and importers as well as system/procedure pack producer. A Single Registration Number (SRN) will be generated and will be a prerequisite for the use of the other EUDAMED modules.
